Assistant nurses in home care, home healthcare and residential care for older people provide personal care and everyday support, in people's homes or in care homes. The usual route in is the health and social care programme at upper secondary school or its equivalent in adult education, and assistant nurse (undersköterska) is now a protected title in Sweden.
