Privacy policy

The site sets no cookies at all, and therefore asks for no cookie consent. There is nothing to consent to.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It is a cookie-free service: it sets nothing in your browser, assigns no identifier and does not follow you between sites. What is measured is page views, referrer, country, device type and load time, aggregated — not individual visitors.

According to Cloudflare, IP addresses are used only momentarily to generate aggregated statistics and are not stored. That is Cloudflare's guarantee rather than something we can verify ourselves.

The game Guess the Salary saves your results and your streak in localStorage in your own browser. That data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

The salary after tax calculator runs entirely in your browser. The tax rates for all 290 municipalities are shipped with the page, so no salary you type is sent anywhere — not to us, not to anyone else. The only thing stored is the municipality you picked, in the same localStorage, so that it is still there next time. The salary you enter is put in the address bar so the calculation can be shared, but only if you send that link on yourself.

The site's typefaces are hosted on our own domain rather than loaded from Google Fonts, so your IP address is never handed to a third party to render text. The only external resource loaded is the Cloudflare analytics script described above.

All salary figures are aggregated statistics from Statistics Sweden covering groups of employees, never individuals. Statistics Sweden suppresses values where too few people were observed, precisely so that no individual's salary can be derived.

There are no ads today. Should advertising be introduced, this page will be updated before it goes live, ads will be clearly marked, and any consent required for tracking will be asked for at that point.
